Artist Notes
Primed black. Lightly drybrushed Vallejo Game Color (GC) Khaki in nooks and crannies just so they aren’t pitch black after the next step. Makeup sponged on the base coat of Khaki. Drybrushed with P3 Lyossan Flesh. Painted rust accents with Vallejo GC Grunge Brown. Washed accented parts with Vallejo Black wash FX and pin washed any lines or parts of the base coat that got filled in during the makeup sponging. Large Lasers / PPCs were done with Army Painter Royal Blue and various mixes of Vallejo GC Dead White. Medium Lasers done with Vallejo GC Dark Green and white. Reds are done with Vallejo GC Bloody Red. Cockpits (besides BattleMaster) done with the aforementioned mix of blue and white. Metallic details were done with Vallejo GC Gunmetal and occasionally highlighted with a light application of Vallejo GC Silver. BattleMaster cockpit done with various mixes of Vallejo GC black and white.
