Spina Khanate uses a light blue with steel highlights. Some units opt to instead paint a turquoise green that starts at the feet of ‘Mechs and Battle Armor and the rear of aerospace fighters and tanks then fades into blue around the middle of the unit with water details throughout.

Artist Notes
- Base coat Dark Blue and Sky Blue from below and above
- Top down spray of Titanium White
- Respray Sky Blue over white in blotches so the titanium white partially remains in stretches between blue sections
- Very light spray of Dark Blue in center of Sky Blue blotches
- Hand paint white stripes over model, taking care to make sure they follow the lighter paths to resemble water caustic patterns
- Akhelian Green Contrast paint watered down greatly and glazed over the feet and lower legs. Repeat this process with Aethermatic Blue for the upper legs and hips, and repeat again with Talassar Blue for the torso and arms of the model
- Re-highlight portions of the caustic effects that meet with thinned white paint to intensify effect.
- Metallics, cockpit, and base up to painter’s discretion.
