Artist Notes
Miniature was painted with the jump jet smoke separately. Both theech and the jumpjet smoke were primed with Army Painter Ash Grey spray primer.
Mech was base coated with Citadel The Fang, washed with Citadel Nuln Oil, then dry brushed with Vallejo Flat Blue first then Vallejo Pastel Blue. Joints and weapons were painted with Vallejo Gunmetal, with the medium Laser being Vallejo Light Green and SRMs being Vallejo Amaranth Red. Cockpit was painted as follows: Vallejo Black, Vallejo Bronze, Army Painter Warpaints Bright Gold, Vallejo Gold, and Vallejo Silver.
Jumpjet smoke was painted from top to bottom, Vallejo White, Vallejo Deep Yellow, Vallejo Light Orange, Vallejo Amaranth Red, with Vallejo White and Vallejo Black dry brushed on the lower smoke billows. Basing was done with Citadel Agrellan Earth with Gamer Grass Tiny Tufts Dark Moss.
After both parts were painted, they were glued together and clear coated with Army Painter Matte Varnish.
