For all the wonderful lore around this mech its actually a very simple paint scheme. I started with a base coat of gold. Any gold paint of your preference will do, this one was Citadels Gehnna’s Gold. this will likely take multiple layers to get full coverage. After that I simply painted in the steel details and then washed the whole mech in Nuln oil or your black tinted wash of preference. After that it was just painting the cockpit, and putting on some laser dots. The base was crumbled up cork glued down and then painted grey, washed in Agrax Earthshade or any other brown wash, and drybrushed. The rebar was made with a cut paperclip.
