Lyran Guard equipment is painted blue, with white applied as a broad vertical stripe covering portions of the right torso, arm, and leg. For vehicles and aerospace craft, the stripe covers some or all of the right side.
Artist Notes
Primary colors were applied with an airbrush in a zenithal procedure, using Pro Acryl Slate Grey as the shadow, Pro Acryl Cool Grey as a midtone, Pro Acryl Blue White for highlights, and Pro Acryl Bold Titanium White for extreme highlights. The model was then masked with putty to apply a blue coat of Pro Acryl Payne’s Grey, Pro Acryl Dark Navy Blue, Vallejo Model Color Royal Blue, and Pro Acryl Blue. The white side was washed with a thin application of Pro Acryl Payne’s Grey wash mixed with Citadel Nuln Oil, while the blue side was washed with a thin application of Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade.
