Scheme Reference
Embracing their new identity, the Commonwealth Guards adopted a new scheme of brown and off-white. The Bolan Guards paint their units in a brown and off-white camouflage pattern. Showing their loyalty to House Steiner, the heads of ‘Mechs are painted royal blue.

Artist Notes
This was my second stab at this scheme. I thought the off-white read too much as just white in that first attempt, so this time I changed things up a bit. All products mentioned can be assumed to be Pro Acryl unless otherwise listed.
Primed the model Black Brown, then zenithaled with Warm Brown and drybrushed with Red Grey. Masked with strips of painters tape (this pulled off primer even after letting things cure, will try Tamiya next time), then airbrushed Advanced Flesh Tone, then again from above with a mix of Advanced Flesh and Dark Ivory. Let dry, removed masking, and painted the head with Dark Blue, highlit with mixes of Dark Blue, Blue, and Sky Blue. Eyes were Dark Red, Bold Pyrrole Red, Orange, and Bold Titanium White. Metals were Vallejo Metal Color Silver, highlit with Silver, shaded with Black Wash. Laser glows are Bold Titanium White, with Transparent Green and Transparent Blue. Coal Black used on the rim, autocannon barrels, etc. Some Army Painter Blue, Purple, and Soft tones were used to add some muzzle burn on the autocannon.
