‘Mech Painters Union launched one year ago to provide a space for painters of all skills to assemble a catalog of various unit schemes from the Inner Sphere and beyond. Since then we have seen a lot of great schemes and fun involvement from community members of all levels!
There’s just one problem, there’s a TON of schemes out there to paint! In the face of such overwhelming odds, most people will choose one of a select few iconic regiments from the faction of their preference, leaving many scheme’s unlisted in our record.
That’s why we are launching the Bounty Hunt, an initiative to provide small rewards for turning in painting bounties on priority targets. These targets are rotated out seasonally, with the goal of vastly expanding the MPU library of painted schemes.
The Rules
To turn in a bounty, just paint a model for one of the listed priority targets, per MPU’s guidelines. Once the bounty is accepted, you’ll earn the reward! Only the first person to complete a bounty can receive credit, so choose your target carefully!
While you may have one of these units hidden in a brian cache somewhere, painting one of these you have not done before would be much more fun.
The Rewards
As payment for completing a bounty, you will receive:
- Seasonal achievement marker which will be included at the bottom of your bounty’s submission page.
- Seasonal achievement role in the MPU discord server
- Highlight on the forthcoming BIG SHOT news posts, to keep you informed of what bounties remain available.
- For completing 3 or more bounties, you will receive a deluxe version of the discord achievement role, and we’re talking about possibly awarding physical BOUNTY HUNT stickers as well!
