Artist Notes
This is a conversion of the IWM Gauntlet. I used the Gyrfalcon 4 Toes and TSEMP Gun Sprue for the TSEMP part and the Inner Sphere PPC’s IWM sprue for the snub-nose PPC.
Besides the Lyran and Stormhammer decals, each Stormhammer model I painted also has one identifying it as either the Tharkan Strikers or Lyran Rangers sub-commands.
Primer: GW Mechanicus Grey
Base Colors: I used a selection of different blues and greys. The main grey is GW Eshin Grey and the main blue is GW Macragge. I also used GW Russ and Fenris Greys. Because the canon description is just “dark” shades you have a great degree of flexibility here to adjust to your personal taste.
Shade: Nuln Oil
