House Imarra uses a color scheme of ivory trimmed in Liao green with gold accents for its ‘Mechs.

Artist Notes
I start off with priming the mini black using Vallejo Black primer followed by a base coat of Army Painter Warpaints Plate Mail – both through an airbrush. I then drybrush Model Color white to brighten the base while dulling the shine a tad.
I then do the main colors starting with Army Painter Howling Sand Speed Paint for the Ivory. I use Citadel Creed Camo Contrast paint for the green.
I brush on a coat or two of Model Color Silver where I plan to put the gold. I also add Silver to the weapon lenses, cockpit, and missile tubes.
For the following effects, I cover the Silver with the following paints:
- Gold accents: Citadel Aggaros Dunes Contrast
- Cockpit and PPC: Citadel Talassar Blue Contrast
- Small Laser: Citadel Magmadroth Flame Contrast
- Medium Laser: Citadel Mantis Warriors Green Contrast
- Missile Tubes: Citadel Baal Red Contrast
For the base I start with Apple Barrel Craft Paint Territorial Beige and mix in sand until a desired consistency (hermit crab enclosure sand specifically). The paint works to adhere the sand to the base. Once it has dried I liberally apply Citadel Agrax Earthshade. Once that is dry, I dab on some PVA glue and some Army Painter Battlefield Grass Green.
The final touches are Model Color White on the front edge, Model Color Black on the other edges, and once the white dries: Army Painter Howling Sand Speed paint on the front.
