Clan Ghost Bear’s Beta Galaxy usually paints its machines in artic camouflage. For parade, a dark blue with white and slate gray trim is used. A pattern of white and slate gray resembling cracked ice encircles the waist and arms of ‘Mechs, the body of vehicles, and the wings of aerospace fighters.

Artist Notes
All paints used were from Army Painter. After priming with Matte White spray, I applied an overall coat of Cloudburst Blue Speedpaint. Once dry, I drybrushed it heavily with Deep Gray, then added finer accents with Ash Gray. The “cracked ice” effect is Matte White with Deep Gray lines, with High Lord Blue Speedpaint applied roughly over the lines. The gray panels are Uniform Gray with a little Ash Gray drybrushing. The cockpit and weapon muzzles started with Shining Silver, with Zealot Yellow, Shamrock Green, or Blood Red Speedpaints over them. The base was finish with Pro Acryl Fine Grey Earth drybrushed with Deep Gray, Ash Gray, and Brigade Gray. The miniature was sealed with Matte Varnish spray.
