The prime struggle with this scheme was finding the right red, a rich scarlet is difficult and I ended up settling on Warpaints Wyvern Fury, but others may get a better result. After basecoating in scarlet, i began adding on the yellow lines. Putting yellow on over a darker base coat is tricky, just be patient and you’ll likely need 3-4 coats to get full coverage. Then I painted a few details in steel (Citadel’s Lead belcher) and washed the mini in Nuln Oil before detailing and basing.
