This scheme is based on the artwork on the Whitworth pilot card.
Artist Notes
All paints are Vallejo unless otherwise noted Green was done with military green as a dark base. The gradients using medium olive mixed with neutral grey to create a desaturated green, followed by highlights of medium olive heavily mixed with light grey. The brown was done with a chocolate brown base with successive layers being mixed with buff to create the highlights. Cockpit was purple base with sunset orange for the gradient and highlights.
