Artist Notes
Antennae were applied by drilling pilot holes with a pin vise and fitting jeweling wire.
The miniature was primed white and base coated in a 1:1 blend of Wolf Grey (Two Thin Coats) and Matt White (Army Painter). It was then wet blended toward a mix of 1:5 Wolf Grey and Matt White, and edge highlighted with Matt White.
The gray sections were base coated with Uniform Gray (Army Painter) and a small dash of black, then blended toward solid Uniform Gray. Checkers were applied freehand where appropriate.
The black sections were base coated in a 2:1 blend of Doom Death Black and Cold Corpse Blue (Two Thin Coats), then blended to bright areas in a 1:2 ratio of the same.
Weapons, joints, and heat sinks were painted Gunmetal (Army Painter).
The mini was then given a coat of gloss varnish before washing with a 2:1 mix of Nuln Oil (Citadel) and flow improver.
