Scheme Reference
All Sword of Light regiments use a flat red paint scheme in the field and on parade.

Artist Notes
1. Grey primer with a base coat of Citadel Contrast Blood Angels Red.
2. Then layer or lightly dry-brush with Citadel Evil Sunz Scarlet or Vallejo Game Color Bloody Red.
3. Joints, barrels and other metals were painted with Vallejo Model Air Gunmetal or Chrome.
4. Use Tamia Black Panel Liner or a black wash such as Citadel Nuln Oil only on the metal areas and select areas between armor panels. Touch up any mistakes if needed with your red color.
5. (Optional) Edge highlight with a lighter red color like Citadel Wild Rider Red.
6. Paint additional details such as cockpit and weapons. PPCs were painted with Citadel Contrast Frostheart; mix in white with the Frostheart for the center highlight. Medium Lasers were painted white then painted with Citadel Tesseract Glow. Auto canon barrel blueing was created using layers of Citadel Seraphim Sepia and Citadel Tyran Blue shades. Back banner was painted Vallejo Model Color Ivory, then washed with the Seraphim Sepia shade.
7. Apply decals then apply a Matte Varnish.
