Artist Notes
I primed the miniature first with Vallejo grey airbrush primer. I then airbrushed Monument Hobbies White Grey on the upper part of the mini with a zenithal highlight with AK Sky Grey from the top. I then painted a layer of AK Graphite below that, AK German Grey below that, and finally AK Black on the feet, making sure to get a good transition on each section. I applied a layer of lacquer followed by a panel wash using Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color Black. I then edge highlighted the mini using AK German Grey on the section painted black, AK Graphite on the section painted AK German Grey, AK White Grey on the section painted AK Graphite, and Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl White on the section painted AK White Grey and Sky Grey. I painted the cockpit with a base coat of AK Brick Red, with layers of AK Scarlet Red and Scarlet Red mixed with Monument Hobbies White. I painted orange highlights on the arms using a base coat of AK Amaranth Red, AK Cadmium Red, and Cadmium Red mixed with Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl White. I painted the barrel of the autocannon with Vallejo Airbrush Steel and applied a patina effect with Citadel Shade Drakenhof Nightshade, followed by Citadel Shade Druchii Violet, and Citadel Shade Seraphim Sepia. I painted the PPCs with a base coat of AK Dark Blue, followed by smaller layers of AK Deep blue, AK Ducat Blue, and AK Snow Blue. I painted the medium lasers with a base coat of Army Painter Fanatic Angel Green, followed by a layer in the lower right corner of Angel Green mixed with AK Slime Green, a layer of AK Slime Green, and a layer of AK Slime Green mixed with Monument Hobbies White. I then added a dot of Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl White in the upper left corner of the medium lasers and the cockpit.
