Scheme Reference
The Royal Guards use a distinctive color scheme for their ‘Mechs and vehicles: a base of Steiner blue with a gold stripe down each side. Additionally, weapon barrels are painted gold, as are hatches and sensors.

Artist Notes
There’s some disagreement in canon examples as to whether the “gold” in the Royal Guards’ colors is the metallic or just a golden yellow; I went with the latter because I thought it would look better.
Airbrush: Prime Stynylrez black, and zenithal with thinned Liquitex Titanium White acrylic ink. Spray Pro Acryl Transparent Purple from below, then Transparent Blue from above. Spray Vallejo Model Color 70.841 Andrea Blue from directly above.
Brush: Paint weapon barrels and actuators with Reaper 09088 Stormy Grey. Base coat sides in 29803 Entrail Pink, then paint in 09407 Lantern Yellow. Wash blue with Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade, and gold with Liquitex Transparent Raw Sienna acrylic ink thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver. Highlight blue with VMC Andrea Blue and Reaper 09418 Oceanic Blue and 09419 Tropical Blue. Edge highlight blue with Reaper 09420 Glacier Blue and 09421 Frost Blue, and gold with 09407 Lantern Yellow and 09408 Candlelight Yellow. Paint cockpit with Reaper 09410 Dragon Green, 09414 Cats-Eye Green, and 09415 Dungeon Slime. TMM gun barrels with Reaper 09049 Ancient Bronze, 09050 Antique Gold, and 09051 New Gold, then wash with Citadel Nuln Oil.
Base with Citadel Martian Earth Technical for crackle effect.
