All Sword of Light regiments use a flat red paint scheme in the field and on parade. The 2nd Sword of Light use a steel colored Kurita crest to denote their regiment.

Artist Notes
The miniature was primed with Vallejo Black primer and then base coated with Army Painter Encarmine Red. A zenithal highlight was applied with AK Carmine Red followed by a smaller zenithal highlight of AK Scarlet Red. It was then varnished with a gloss varnish and given a panel line wash with Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color Black. Edge highlights were applied with Ak Amaranth Red, followed by a second edge highlight with AK Cadmium Red. Chipping and scratches were made with AK Cadmium Red and Vallejo German Chocolate Black Brown.
Weapon barrels and exposed gears and heat sinks were painted with Vallejo Air Steel and washed with Citadel Nuln Oil. the cockpit and medium lasers were painted with Citadel Caliban Green followed by Caliban Green mixed with Citadel Moot Green, Moot Green, and then Moot Green mixed with AK White. The hazard stripes are painted with Citadel Averland Sunset and AK Black. The LRM launchers were painted with AK German Grey and the missiles were painted with AK White. The sensors on the head and body were painted with AK Deep Blue, AK Ducat Blue, Citadel Averland Sunset, AK Ice Yellow, AK Magenta and AK White. Burn mark patina on the exhaust vents were made with a wash of Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade, Citadel Druchii Violet, and Citadel Seraphim Sepia
