The 1st’s parade scheme is a gradient of red on the upper body or forward section fading to Marik purple on the legs or rear, with gold highlights throughout.

Artist Notes
I’ve had this built and on my desk for a diorama that never took off. Asked in the MPU for suggestions on a scheme, and Bishop Steiner and Mustang both suggested the 1st Augustine. All paint colors are Pro Acryl unless otherwise noted. The model had been primed black and zenithaled white, but I reinforced the shadows with Dark Camo Green, before airbrushing the base coats using Bold Pyrrole Red, Dark Magenta, and Purple. Edge highlights were a mix of the above three colors and Beige Red, mixed as needed for where they fell on the model. Gold accents were Rich Gold and Bright Gold. Cockpit was Coal Black and GW Templar Black, Green, Bright Green, Bright Yellow Green, and VGC Livery Green, glazed with Transparent Black. Model was washed and cleaned with Mr. Hobby Multi Black.
