This LGH-4W Lightray model was primed with Army Painter Uniform Gray (rattlecan). Over that went a base coat of Vallejo Model Color German Grey from the knees down, then Vallejo Model Color Sky Grey from the shoulders up. The midsection was wet-blended on the model between the two greys to achieve the gradient necessary for the scheme. The orange highlights on the arms were done with Vallejo Game Color Hot Orange. The metal was picked out in Army Painter Warpaints Shining Silver and Vallejo Game Color Tinny Tin with the cockpit using Army Painter Warpaints Greenskin. Citadel Nuln Oil was washed over the model. The laser lenses were then colored with Army Painter Warpaints Voidshield Blue (Large Pulse), Jungle Green (ER Mediums), and Vallejo Model Color Dark Red (ER Small).
