Scheme Inspiration
A custom scheme for the non-canon Crystal Ghosts trinary.
Artist Notes
Custom Rasalhague Dominion paint scheme of standard Kodiak. Started with a mix of Army Painter Crystal Blue and Bright Sapphire to make a mix I lovingly call snow cone blue. Then used Army Painter Yellow for the striping that provides a nice creamy look and feel instead of a matte white . Then followed up with AP Dark Wash over entire miniature. Metal highlights were done in AP Shining Silver. Weapon ports, specifically missile bay, is done in citadel Screaming Bell. AP Pure Red is applied to the eyes and “mouth”. Energy weapon bores are tipped with Citadel Contrast Striking Scorpion Green. Ballistic bores are AP Matte Black. Basing is a simple application of clear Elmer’s glue and hobby sand.
