The Dawn Guards generally use a white and golden yellow scheme. The yellow is painted diagonally across the ‘Mech from the top of the right shoulder to the bottom of the left leg and white covers the lower half of the ‘Mech.

Artist Notes
Yellow – basecoat done using VGC grunge brown. Shading done by glazing AK interactive Amethyst Blue into basecoat. Midtones done using Army Painter Demigod Flames. Highlights done using Army Painter Daemonic Yellow, with extreme highlights supplemented by AK Radiant Yellow.
White – basecoat done using VGC Steel grey. Midtones and highlights done by mixing/glazing Pro Acryl bold titanium white with basecoat colour. Chipping done with AK Chocolate (Chipping) by dabbing paint with a chunk of synthetic sponge.
Non-metallic metal progression: AK interactive strong dark blue > VMC dark grey > VMC London grey > VMC sky grey
Cockpit progression: AK Imperial blue > AK Light Prussian Blue > VGC Magic Blue > P3 Arcane Blue
TAG laser done using a basecoat of VMC dark red with a VMC Flat Red highlight.
