The Turkina Keshik colors its ‘Mechs turquoise green with lime green highlights. A gold pearl glaze is then applied, changing the green aspect in varied lighting. Wanting their enemy to know exactly whom they are fighting, all MechWarriors adorn their machines with large falcon murals. Camo (usually shades of green) is used only on the orders of the Khan.
Artist Notes
Primary colors were applied with an airbrush in a zenithal procedure, using Pro Acryl Dark Sea Ben as the shadow, Pro Acryl Green Oxide as the midtone, and Army Painter Fanatic Talisman Teal as the highlight. This basecoat was then washed with a very thin application of Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade. A drybrush of Pro Acryl Bright Pale Green was then applied.
Accents were blocked in with Pro Acryl Bright Yellow Green, then blended up with Pro Acryl Golden Yellow and Pale Yellow highlights. The Falcon mural was painted with various cold greens, including AK 3rd Gen Cold Green, Reaper Brilliant Green, and AK 3rd Gen Deep Green.
Basing was added with a mixture of Pro Acryl Brown Earth and Gamer’s Grass tufts, then layered with mixes of AK Snow Terrain, AK Snow Sprinkles, and AK Snow Microballoons, with some application of Vallejo Still Water to create a “wet” effect.
