The Broken Arrows use a parade scheme of sea blue with white “countershading” applied to protruding lower surfaces. Lance commanders add gold “IFF flash” accents to the upper parts of their machines. When utilizing camouflage, enlisted MechWarriors may apply similar flashes in silver.
Artist Notes
Primary colors were applied with an airbrush in a zenithal procedure, using Vallejo Model Color Continental Blue as the shadow, Vallejo Model Color Prussian Blue as a midtone, 50/50 VMC Prussian Blue/Two Thin Coats Cursed Blue for highlights, and Scale75 Bering Blue for extreme highlights. The underside was painted with Pro Acryl Neutral Grey, Pro Acryl Bright Neutral Grey, and Pro Acryl Bold Titanium White for highlights. Blue sections were washed with a thin application of Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade.
