All Sword of Light regiments use a flat red paint scheme in the field and on parade. The 2nd Sword of Light use a steel-colored Kurita crest to denote their regiment.
Artist Notes
Primary colors were applied with an airbrush in a zenithal procedure, using Pro Acryl Mahogany as the shadow, Pro Acryl Burnt Red as a midtone, Pro Acryl Red Oxide for highlights, and Pro Acryl Bold Pyrrole Red for extreme highlights. The model was washed with a thin application of Citadel Agrax Earthshade prior to applying extreme highlights.
The sashimono was painted using a mix of Pro Acryl Ivory and Bright Ivory with black details. A mon representing the tsuru-no-maru crane crest of the Mori clan was hand painted on the banner.
