The Amaterasu does not have a published canon color scheme, so this is a fan-created scheme for the unit.
Artist Notes
All paints used were Citadel/Warhammer paints.
The mini was primed in Wraith Bone spray. The arms, center torso, and left leg were painted with Mephiston Red, then layered with Evil Suns Scarlet and highlighted with Wild Rider Red.
The side torsos and left leg were painted with Ushabti Bone, then washed with a 50:50 mix of Agrax Earthshade and Contrast Medium, then played with Ushabti Bone and highlighted with screaming skull.
Metal elements were painted with Iron Warriors and then layered with Leadbelcher.
The cockpit glass was painted Kantor Blue, and Kensington effect was done with Teclis Blue, then Hoeth Blue, then Whire Scar.
The PPC was basecoated in Kantor Blue, then Thousand Sons Blue, Temple Guard Blue, and White Scar were used for the lens effect.
The medium laser was painted with Moot Green, then a mix of moor green and Pallid Wych Flesh, then White Scar.
