All Sword of Light regiments use a flat red paint scheme in the field and on parade.

Artist Notes
Prime with a grey primer and base coat with Citadel Contrast Blood Angel Red. Lightly dry-brush with Citadel Evil Sunz Scarlet.
Paint metal joints and weapons with steel color like Vallejo Air Steel or Chrome. Use a black wash such as Citadel Nuln Oil or black Tamia Panel Liner in the joints and between armor panels.
Next, paint additional details such as cockpit glass, lasers, missiles, etc. The cockpit was painted using TurboDork 3D Glasses paint. Use a lighter red color such as Citadel Wild Rider Red to add any desired edge highlights to armor panels.
Finally, add desired basing material and spray with a Matte Varnish.
