Scheme Inspiration
This paint scheme was an original one that was to be used for a Hinterlands Campaign that was to be run in my area, but got canceled. The group was to be a Merc Company that was the same unit, just different Sections. We had decided on the Pateros Lancers (Pateros was the original name of a river in the region that has since been renamed) I wanted a scheme for my section that represented the Two major universities of the state Black and Gold and Green and Gold. This unit was to be The Vaqueros.
Artist Notes
The model was primed gray, then painted half green by airbrush, then half black by airbrush, with the yellow strips being free-handed. I decided to add hazard and warning strips in yellow and black, and white and Black and red and black near the reactor. The base terrain is also in honor for the state known for it’s red dirt. I used mainly Vallejo Game colors and Vallejo airbrush paints.
