The First paints its ‘Mechs an olive-tinted green with dark yellow highlights, and a spread-winged jade falcon painted on the machine’s torso or top side. Additional falcon imagery is sometimes added at the pilot’s discretion.

Artist Notes
All paint colors are Pro Acryl unless otherwise noted. Primed Dark Neutral Grey, then sprayed Royal Purple from below to establish shadows, and Dark Camo Green from above for the base color. The yellows are Yellow Ochre shaded with GW Reikland Fleshshade. Cockpit was Coal Black, Dark Blue, Dark Grey Blue, Blue, Sky Blue, White Blue. Metals were Steel and Silver, shaded with Black Wash. The freehand Jade Falcon mural was Dark Jade and Jade, outlined using GW Black Templar contrast, and hue shifted with a Warcolours Green glaze. Additional highlights for the armor were mixes of Dark Camo Green, Dark Yellow Green, and VGC Livery Green. An overall enamel wash using Mr. Hobby Multi-black was applied and cleaned up with white spirits.
