Artist Notes
I began with a spray undercoat of Krylon Matte Grey. I then applied a heavy drybrush of Administratum Grey, followed by a drybrush of White Scar. A wash of Nuln Oil was then carefully applied to panel lines. After that, I painted White Scar again on individual panels. Metallic details were picked out with either Leadbelcher or Balthasar Gold. The blue checks were painted with Teclis Blue. I started the canopy with Abaddon Black, followed by layers of Mephiston Red and Evil Sunz Scarlet. The canopy was finished with a small highlight of Yriel Yellow followed by a gloss varnish. The antennae were made with scrub-brush bristles, painted Abaddon Black. All of those paints are from the Citadel Colour line, with the exception of the spray paint.
