Embracing their new identity, the Commonwealth Guards adopted a new scheme of brown and off-white. The Bolan Guards paint their units in a brown and off-white camouflage pattern. Showing their loyalty to House Steiner, the heads of ‘Mechs are painted royal blue.

Artist Notes
All paints are Pro Acryl unless otherwise stated. Airbrush primed with Black Brown, then zenithaled with Warm Brown, and drybrushed with Red Grey. Sprayed a shadow color using Dark Jade. Then masked, and airbrushed Dark Ivory for the camo. I think this color reads as white, and I’ll likely look for something closer to tan for future units. The blue around the cockpit was Dark Blue, with highlights a mix of Dark Blue and Blue. Metals are Vallejo Model Color Steel. Weapon glows are Bold Titanium White gone over with Blue or Green transparents. Cockpit was Transparent Orange over white, then knocked down with Black Wash and the added dot of white.
