Scheme Inspiration
This is a non-canon, but Steiner-inspired, scheme for a Hinterlands campaign.
Artist Notes
Started with a white prime from a rattle can and blocked the base coat with wild green and Brainmatter Beige from the Army Painter. Once dry, I did a wash made with a mix of Matt Black, Wash Medium, and a touch of water to accent the panel lines and bring out some details. Once the wash was fully dry, I applied a heavy dry brush of Wild Green and Brainmatter Beige to brighten it back up. A final, lighter dry brushing of wild green mixed with a touch of the Brainmatter Beige, and Matt White to highlight the top edges. I then painted the guns, actuators, jump jets and some other details with Gun Metal metallic paint. Laser lenses and cockpit glass, were based with Matt White and then painted with Data System Glow for the lasers and Power Node Glow for the cockpit. Finally cleaned up the base with Matt Black and painted the facing with Wild Green.
