Artist Notes
Airbrush: Prime black, base in Vallejo Model Air 047 US Grey, then spray upper surfaces with ProAcryl Bright Neutral Grey. Spray thinned Liquitex Titanium White acrylic ink from directly above.
Brush: Paint arms, shoulders, and upper back in Reaper 09188 Ultramarine Blue, then wash with Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade. Paint actuators, heat sinks, and gun barrels in PA Dark Warm Grey, and canopy and jump jet internals PA Coal Black.Wash actuators and heat sinks in Nuln Oil. Touch up upper blue surfaces with Ultramarine Blue. Base red highlights with PA Bold Titanium White, then paint in PA Bold Pyrrole Red. Edge-highlight red with Reaper 09005 Phoenix Red, and blue with PA Blue. Apply black Tamiya Panel Liner.
Paint hex base PA Dark Yellow Green, and sides with Coal Black and Dark Neutral Grey.
Paint dead Urbie with Vallejo Express brown, black, and purple.
