Artist Notes
Primary colors were applied with an airbrush in a zenithal procedure, using AK Cold Green as a shadow, Reaper Brilliant Green as a midtone, and Army Painter Greenskin as a highlight, with glazes of Two Thin Coats Green Glaze and Pro Acryl Yellow Green for peak highlights. A light wash of Citadel Coelia Greenshade was applied to create cool shadows and panel lines. Yellow accents were then applied with Pro Acryl Yellow Ochre, Pro Acryl Bright Yellow Ochre, and Pro Acryl Ice Yellow.
Metals were applied in a non-metallic metal style, using Pro Acryl’s NMM Silver recipe (viewable here) for guns and a modified version of the same recipe that added warm grey glazes for actuators and heat sinks.
