Artist Notes
The mini was primarily airbrushed using Pro Acryl paint. Starting with a Black Primer, the grey is built up in a zenithal manner, starting with Dark Warm Grey, Warm Grey, and finally Bright Warm Grey. The details are then done with a normal brush. The red is built up starting with Burnt Red, Bold Pyrrole Red, and Orange Red. The cockpit is done with Dark Jade, Jade, and Bright Jade. The metals were all done with Vallejo Metal Color Magnesium. I then did an oil wash mixing lamp black oil paint with mineral spirits and then removing it off all the raised areas with a makeup sponge. After that dries,varnish and decals are applied.
