Artist Notes
Base coat of Reaper MSP Heartbreak Red*, wash of Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade. Build up with layers of the base color, then the base mixed with a little Golden SoFlat Matte Acrylic Naphthol Red Light. Very fine edge highlight in Vallejo Model Color White. Blue markings are Reaper MSP Templar Blue highlighted with MSP Ashen Blue. Gray metal painted with VMC Black, VMC Dark Sea Green, VMC Dark Sea Grey, and VMC White. Emblems are freehand. *I failed to notice that I was using a sample bottle of Heartbreak Red, which is not a production color. Anything like a red oxide or a dried blood color is probably a good match.
