Artist Notes
This is a kitbash of the Iron Cheetah. It was done as a commission and is comprised of multiple CGL miniatures and pieces from IWM. Specifically, the center torso is CGL Timber Wolf, the side vents, arms, lower torso, arm missile rack, and legs are from a CGL Dire Wolf. The feet are from IWM Mad Cat Mk II, the right arm Gauss rifle is from a CGL Executioner, and the lasers/PPCs are from the IWM weapon sprues. The side torsos were hand molded with brown stuff (a similar epoxy to green stuff).
The mini was primed in black from Rustoleum. Army Painter Ash Grey was dry brushed and a wash of Dark Tone was applied. An additional dry brush of Ash Grey followed. The jaguar spots were done by painting a Dark Grey with Ash Grey to simulate the moon shape. The cockpit canopy was primarily a Navy Blue with white to achieve some lighter tones. Decals were from Fighting Piranha Graphics, and the miniature was sealed with Matte Varnish from Army Painter.
