This mini was a very basic base coat and wash job. A point to make is that the red on the ‘Mech is hand mixed from craft paint, if you’re missing a color, don’t be afraid to mix your own, it can bring great results for less. After base coating in grey, adding the maroon sections and choosing which areas to make metallic, I covered the whole ‘Mech in black tinted wash and then added the details. The base was an experiment, literally jut crumbled pieces of cork held to the base with white glue. It has potential as rubble, but other painters would likely be better off with using a grey base coat as opposed to my brown.
